Benny Gluten Free rehydrating series
Walk through rehydrating Benny, my Gluten Free sourdough starter, day by day. Watch in order from Day 1 through the day he is ready to make dough.
Benny rehydration — Day 1
Day 1 — waking Benny up. Follow along as we start rehydrating your Gluten Free starter.
Benny rehydration — Day 2
Day 2 — feeding and watching him come alive. Stick around to see how he looks a few hours after the second feed.
Benny rehydration — Day 3
Day 3 — Benny is strong and active. We are almost ready to mix dough.
Benny rehydration — Day 4 / 5
Day 4 / 5 — Benny is ready. He could have made dough after the second feed, but waiting for that third feed gives you a really strong starter.

I'm happy to help with starter feedings, rehydrating a dehydrated starter, timing, dough troubles, and any bake question along the way. And if a bake doesn't turn out the way you hoped, I'll follow up with you so we can work through it together.
