Bucky Live Sourdough Starter 35g

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From a Sourdough Funeral to a Bread-Baking Miracle! RIP Ken. Long Live Bucky! 🍞

Let me tell you about how a sourdough emergency led me to Tammy at Simply Doughlectable…and quite possibly changed my life. 😂

It all started with my first sourdough starter, Ken. Ken and I had been struggling for about two weeks. I fed him, encouraged him, believed in him…and apparently was slowly killing him. RIP Ken. You deserved better. 🪦

Desperate to save my sourdough dreams, I went down an AI rabbit hole trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Eventually, I asked, “Where in the Phoenix area can I buy a LIVE sourdough starter?” (Emphasis on LIVE, because clearly I couldn’t be trusted with one.)

Enter Tammy. My sourdough fairy godmother! 🪄

Her business was one of the first to pop up, so I called her. She actually ANSWERED! Within minutes, she had asked me a few questions, diagnosed my starter struggles, and explained what I was doing wrong. Mind you, I hadn’t even purchased anything yet!

A few hours later, I met Tammy and adopted my new starter, Bucky. She sent me home with feeding instructions, links to her easy sourdough recipe, and enough encouragement to make me believe I might actually be capable of keeping a jar of fermented flour alive.

And then…the magic happened.

Saturday: Bucky came home.

Sunday: I prepared my first dough.

Next thing I knew, I was pulling BEAUTIFUL jalapeño cheddar sourdough loaves out of my oven using Tammy’s recipe. I could NOT believe it! They looked amazing, tasted incredible, and suddenly I was walking around like I’d been baking artisan bread in a French village for 30 years. 🥖

Here’s the crazy part: Bucky and I haven’t even celebrated our ONE-WEEK ANNIVERSARY, and I’ve already baked NINE loaves of bread! NINE! Every single one has turned out amazing!

I’ve been following Tammy’s instructions religiously. Apparently, when you actually know what you’re doing, sourdough isn’t nearly as mysterious as it seems. Who knew?!

But here’s what really makes Tammy special: She hasn’t disappeared after the sale. I’ve been texting her all my random sourdough questions, and she continues to respond with patience, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm. I’m pretty sure she didn’t realize that selling me Bucky meant she’d also be adopting a very enthusiastic, slightly obsessive sourdough student. 😂

I feel incredibly lucky to have found Tammy. She doesn’t just sell sourdough starter. She shares her knowledge, builds your confidence, and genuinely wants you to succeed.

If you’re thinking about starting your sourdough journey, CALL TAMMY! Don’t spend two weeks accidentally murdering a starter like I did.

Thank you, Tammy, for Bucky, the incredible recipes, your patience, and for turning my sourdough disaster into a full-blown bread obsession!

RIP Ken. Long live Bucky. And may my family never get tired of sourdough, because apparently I’m running a bakery now. ❤️🍞

I am new to the sourdough bread world. Bucky has been a life saver. Bucky came with a contact person named Tammy. Tammy has spent so much time helping me through the sourdough process. She has always made herself available for questions/concerns. She took the time to ensure I understood the process. Her responses were not only quick-she became like a family member. She’s truly a gem. Such an amazing person with so much patience. Bucky is the way to go if you’re starting out and it’s a plus to have the exceptional customer service to go along with it!!! Thank you Tammy for being amazing:)

Was able to use within a day of a receiving! Highly recommend!

I got Buckies off spring on a Friday and by Saturday I was able to make my own sourdough! It was worth the money!

I gave this to my wife and in two days of feeding it, it was tripling in size and dropping to double in size. Great product, suggest it to anybody. We'll be ordering her a chocolate one later.

I made my first loaf today with Bucky and it turned out gorgeous 😍😍😍

Bucky and I have become best friends. I just love him and how strong he is. 🤣❤️

SO GOOD! TAMMY is also sooo much help! If you are wanting to get into sourdough and learn, this is your way!

I have yet to be able to successfully make a starter from scratch. Seems simple I know but I’m not a natural cook so if I can fail, I do LOL. This started to bubble the next day! Came with clear guidelines to follow! 10/10!!

Good sourdough begins with a strong starter. Ive been struggling for a while to get a strong enough starter. Bucky was the solution that finally got me that great loaf of sourdough. I would recommend Bucky to any home baker struggling to get that perfect loaf.

Really awesome if u have problems gettin ur own started like I did. It works! And I love once it’s started it’s really not that high of maintenance. Takes me 5 min to feed it every night and it trucks along with no problems!

Performance: Was not able to use next day, will be trying in 7 days
Ease of Use: Very easy instructions, but as a beginner in the sourdough world. I still feel overwhelmed.

This has been such a good starter! Highly recommend for beginners!

It was a very busy week for me, so when I received Bucky I put it in the fridge. Last night before bed I took it out and fed it. This picture is from this morning!

This was put together so nicely. Lots of info/directions. I would definitely recommend 👌🏻

I had a bit of trouble in the beginning but I reached out to the number provider with the order and Ms.Tammy was so helpful!! After speaking with her, she figured out what was wrong! This is my starter after 4 hrs! Wooo thanks Tammy! 🤍🌷

Great starter & now I have sourdough I am responsible for!! LoL
Easy to use & directions are amazing too!!

It’s my second time ordering Bucky and it has not disappointed at all. I love it and I love making bread from it. It’s the best sourdough starter I’ve ever ordered.

Loved it! It made a huge difference in my existing starter

this is my 3rd or 4th time ordering this particular starter this time didn’t go as expected.a bit disappointed that I couldn’t get the taste texture and rise that I had become accustomed to with Bucky…will definitely order again though as I usually have great results with this one!

Whew! What a journey this has been since I’m a first-time sourdough bread maker. The buyer, Tammy, held my hand and was available immediately when things seemed bleak to me. She walked me through the process and encouraged me. Bucky works wonderfully and Tammy has been amazing! I’ll be making many more loaves of sourdough bread since now I know the process. Thank you, Tammy!! I am MIMI (or O’Linda).

I have had issues with starting a ‘sourdough starter’ before… this was wonderful… I fed it just like the instructions suggested and there was even a ‘activation’ packet to boost it if needed… great starter and wonderful support if you have questions/need it!!

Easy to use. I mix d it up this morning and fed it, just fed again tonight. I’ll be baking by the weekend!

Great place to start if you are looking to get into sourdough!
I was using my own starter for a while, but had trouble getting/keeping it active. This starter has made my loaves so much better and comes with extremely detailed instructions on maintenance! Definitely recommend!

FANTASTIC!! I don’t feel discouraged or intimidated using the live starter

This is the best experience I have ever had on TikTok shop

My starter came quickly and packaged very nicely. It seems to be very high quality to this sourdough novice. :) But more than that, Tammy is absolutely amazing! She has held my hand through the entire process, offering tips and tricks, and overall moral support as I make my first batch. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Great product!!!! I love baking and this saved me a lot of hassle that I had with making my own starter. Great instructions step by step. I first loaf was flat and gummy. Not because of Bucky it was my inexperience with proofing a dough. The second attempt was sooo bad I just put it in the trash. The third was the winner I made a jalapeño cheddar loaf yummm. Success!!!! Thank you so much for ur help. I recommend 1000% buy it and have fun creating something yummy and healthy for ur family. And if you mess up it’s ok try again.
