Shipping policy

United States: Shipping is free on every order to the lower 48 states and Washington, DC. I send all US orders by USPS Ground Advantage with a tracking number. This goes for all of my starters, Bucky Live included.

Alaska, Hawaii, US territories and APO/FPO addresses: You pay the actual USPS Ground Advantage rate, shown at checkout before you pay.

Shipping outside the lower 48 states? Email Tammy at tammy@simplydoughlectable.com before you order and she'll send you a $5 shipping coupon.

International: Dehydrated starters ship by USPS First-Class International (1–3 weeks): $19.50 to Canada and Mexico or $25.50 to other supported countries for small orders (usually 1–3 starters), and $25.50 to Canada and Mexico or $40.50 to other supported countries for orders up to about 1 lb (usually 4–7 starters). Larger orders ship at the USPS Priority rate. Due to UK and EU import and tax requirements for small overseas sellers, I'm not able to ship to the United Kingdom or European Union at this time.

Bucky Live ships to US addresses only. He's a live, active culture, so I don't send him outside the United States. If you're ordering from another country, please choose one of my dehydrated starters.

Customs duties and taxes: On international orders, any customs duties, import taxes or fees charged by your country are paid by you, the buyer. They aren't part of the price or the shipping cost at checkout, and your post office or carrier may collect them when your package arrives.

When your order ships: US orders usually arrive in 3–5 days, often in 2–4. I go to the post office Monday–Friday, around 4pm Arizona time. Every order is packed by hand and shipped fast.

Lost or damaged packages: If your order is lost, damaged or undelivered because of a USPS error, I'll gladly replace it at no cost. Just let me know as soon as you notice a problem. You can read more in my Returns & Refunds policy.
